The DuBay Band 'Claude' |
![]() |
Lead
Vocals, keyboards, guitars
This French Canadian spent his formative years performing in the southern Ontario area. A graduate of McMaster University (B.S.) psych.), Claude worked his way through school playing clubs and dances with brother Dany and best friends Nick and Dennis. His musical family influence ranged from Chet Atkins to Chopin, with Elvis and The Beatles wedged in between. As lead vocalist in earlier bands, Claude honed his guitar and keyboard skills to song writing. He relocated to California as lead vocalist for "London", which later spawned Blackie Lawless of WASP and Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue; performing in all of the Hollywood hot spots. But Claude longed for the purity of vocals and music and found it through producer Ron Payne. Under the name "HELP", Claude and Ron produced their first album. After five years of the L.A. experience Claude returned to his roots in Canada with his family. Claude and Dennis discovered young drumming sensation Kevin Camilleri, regrouped with old band mates Nick and brother Dany and formed DuBay. |
