The DuBay Band 'Pat' |

Drums
Born in Ireland, Pat relocated to England with his family at the age of four where he witnessed the birth of the British Invasion. By watching various garage bands, Pat realized his love for music by the age of seven. By the age of twelve, he realized his talent was in drumming, with such influences as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Big band jazz, blues, funk, traditional Irish music and top 40 pop-rock. After relocating to Canada in 1969, Pat performed with many bands who offered various music styles. His quest for work brought him to live in Hamilton in 1974. Once married, Pat's two daughters are front and center in his life. When drummer auditions were held for the Dubay Band in December 2001, Pat's talents and dedication proved him to be our drummer. His solid timing and style was an easy fit for Dubay. The single “ Elevator man” was remixed with Pat's drum licks added. He is currently recording the new French CD and will continue to influence and write more in depth in the future. Soft spoken and spiritually centered, Pat loves boxing and beating things, so don’t get his Irish temper up! (just kidding) |
